definately start off with some softies. green star polyps, mushrooms and leathers are good first corals. its better for your tank to mature a little and you have some more experience before you move on to hardeer to keep corals.

Do you know what a water change is andhow to do one? a few good water changes will most likely do the trick. adding fresh water is not a water change. you have to remove 20%-30% of the old water and add new salt water on a regular basis. im not sure if u understand this or not, but it seems like...

never check the basic stuff like jer said,but i test the cal and alk once or twice a week. my cal drops about 20 ppm a day and im using alot of additive, so it like to make sure it doesnt get out of whack.

i dont dose anything except cal and alk and thats mostly for the coralline. your iodine might get a little low after a while,but i do so many water changes i never seen to have that problem. you should ask Nagel what hge doses. i think he qualifies as the resident softie master :).

i read something a while ago about someone who had the same problem. they said that rc could be using an outdated bogon filter that is not allowing us in. anyone know anything about this. eric, do u have optimum too?

i havnt been able to get in for the last day. maybe its my isp? i have optimum online. every other site works except rc.

rc doesnt seem to work for me. is anyone else having this prblem?
