i have tried getting live rock from almost all fish stores around me.. but the rocks have very little or no alage on them :( i guess i need to find someone else who has a reef tank.... or maybe try to buy some from local reefers :)

I have been added mall as well I have the 6 bulb tek t5 lighting I bought some live rock and tried a scraping it but with no luck I my old tank I had to clean my glass every 3-4 days to keep it clean Maybe I should try just getting some scrappings for a fellow reffer ?? Why do u guys think?

Rust color is better description.. but a light rust color

The_Codfather - its soft to touch, and when i pull on it some it comes off the rock, but some times the fuzz comes away by roots are still on the rock.. thax for ur help bud :)

hi guys, the TDS for Ro/Di water is 0.01 so that should be good plus i never see an air bubbles on this algae it is more like a fuzz, when i pull it out it come out in clumps. the skimmer also produces about 1/2 cup of light green goo any other ideas??

hi guys here is better pic i hope :) i use RO/DI water only i have fuge but no Macro algae yet.. been looking for some :( haven't found it locally... i have GFO from BRS i will start using it this weekend i don't have a PO test any other thoughts??

when using mag pump its better if you double the return line. i am using a 1 inch return on my mag 7.. HTH
