You are correct. I did raise the light and lowered the corals. They have gotten the color back and look better than ever. The growth on other corals have picked up as well. Will slowly over time move the corals up. I also had the 175 hamilton black box and upgraded to aquamedic 4x250 de hqi...

After cutting down on lights and moving them down, they haven't gotten any worse. They still have polyp extention and have remained the same color. I want to use a out of sump protein skimmer. Question is how would I set it up? Pump in the sump feeding the skimmer, then skimmer back to sump? If anyone has pics of a set-up like this that would be great. Could really use some help. ???

I have a dual over flow with the 1" hoses to the sump, what could I use to attach the hose to a t. Would I be able to use one side of the over flow to just the fuge side?
