"New" clownfish being released at macna 2015

This is a naturally occurring genetic anomaly. I talked to to matt c from sustainable about it, this is not something he strived to create or tryed too. They can not be housed with regular clownfish with normal fins, their swimming is impeded and they are a easy target for getting picked on...

Game Changer Crossflow Water Movement Device Coming out from Maxspect.

That's a pretty broad statement, i know many people keeping magnificas, maybe mertens not so much. Just cause you know stickheads and coral people doesnt mean Im the only person keeping them.

i would still like to see how anemones react to these pumps. I suspect it might be a better type of flow for anemones.

    Clowns

Wild The size of the tank isnt really an issue as long as its not a 40 gallon tank. The issue is ANEMONES. The more you have the less likely pairs are to squabble. In the Ocean in a 2 foot by 2 foot area you can have 10 anemones and three pairs of clowns. As long as you have enough anemones...

Ed doesn't matter how small, anemones are like octopus with their ability to get into the tiniest of places. Tell Chris I'd like to try one on one of my anemone tanks with the sponge. It's a great idea the tunze wavebox is much safer if it doesn't have a foam cover

My only concern which is also a concern with any open grate pumps is anemones. Is seems like this would not be conducive to keep anemones becuase if they detach it doesnt look like anyhting is stopping it from becoming soup.

    Help with Bubble Tip

Clowns Any type of angel has a chance of nipping, what did you feed it when you do. BTA are more forgiving with parameters but you should always make sure they are solid. I have had the unfortunate luck of seeing a hippo tang repeatedly pick on btas. The BTA moved into the hippos sleeping...

xrabs Most stores who get in maricultured or wild collected acro crabs that dip the colonies, should have some lying around. Especially when they first come in.

    PITA MiniMax Anemone

It may not be happy with all of the LPS in the tank. I have had large hosting anemones get into turf battles with leathers and LPS. I would move some of the lps around and see if it comes out.

    Clownfish layed eggs!!!

reef boy, consider this a testament to your good reefkeeping skills. You better tell mom your gonna need like 3-4-5 more tanks for growout. As red said fry will need to be collected the night they hatch, there are several methods. Then you will need cultures of small particle algeas to feed...

Anemones ShulZer I don't think your bta,s like each other. They both are able to adapt to the same conditions. Bubble tips in general are more able to deal with less the perfect conditions and most are usually found in higher nutrient water except for magnifica anemones. How big of a tank...
