Anemone cups

I got one of those glass suction cup cups for an anemone, and I found today the RBTA I have in there had escaped and moved on the glass across the tank. I put it back and plan to lower the cup to the level I found it at, guessing that’s the light level it’s seeking. I had one rock in the bottom of the cup it was attached to, and now I added a few more and an empty snail shell.

Can someone who uses them share some tips for success keeping the anemone happy in there?

I tried it as well with both of my RBTA s did not work

Honestly I don’t know. Mine stayed in for few weeks. And one day hopped out.

Mine moved once the lighting was lost.

Hmm....found it out of the cup a second time today. It stayed in a few days only. Doesn’t sound promising.

Btas seem to be the “don’t tell me what to do” type. I can respect that, but what a pain in the butt in the tank lol.

Sheesh-the tank Is the only part of the house I had some control over, and now that’s gone too!
