Another halide setup

I'm in the process of having a canopy built for my tank, I also recently purchased 3 of Ice Cap's newest 250W ballast that will run either single or double ended bulbs.
At first I was going to purchase 3 Sunlight Reef Optix 3 Double End 250 watt HQI Pendants http://www.premiumaquatics.com/Merc...oduct_Code=SL-OPTIX3&Category_Code=Sunpendant
and mount them in the new canopy. After researching a bit I found I could save aprox $60+ 15%(PA GB) purchasing 3 PFO Optimal Reflector w/mogule socket and new reeflux bulbs.

I would have no cost for HQI bulbs as I just purchased them in the past few months.

So my question is are the PFO reflectors any good, is HQI better than single ended, is there a difference in heat between the two bulbs, which direction would you take ???

The only real answer I got on this a few months ago when asking the same question was just the color choices on the HQI versus the single mogul bulbs.

No real answer other than opinions on the reflectors, though.
