im looking to borrow a fish trap that i can use to catch a 5-6 inch hippo tang, im located in manalapan nj. let me know guys thanks

I’ve had great success with a bottle trap:
Mine is a liter soda bottle, which I’m sure is too small for your Hippo. But you could try using a ½ gallon milk jug….that would work.
Now here’s the secret……cut a hole in the trap (you can see the hole in my trap), and squirt in some tasty food using your turkey baster. Leave the turkey baster in the hole, and every few seconds, give it another squirt. The inside of the trap will look like a snow-globe, with the food swirling around.
I’ve never had to more than ten minutes using this method.
