aqua controller ph probe dry

I won a aqua controller jr. on a famous bidding site and the ph probe was sent in a zipplock bag and the water was ice so does that meen the probe is bad.Is there anyway to check.Also were can I get it callibrated at.Thanks Bill

Someone near you may have some calibration fluid. Give it a try. I think RO should hit about 7.0 though for rough estimates. Before you use it you'll need to calibrate it though. We have some if you're near Jackson.

Hang the probe in tank water (don't submerge the entire probe, just the lower 1/2.

Let it rehydrate for 2 days. Then try to calibrate it with 7.0 and 10.0 calibration packets.
