Basic resizing software

Phyl suggested a free download to me at the anniversary sale, and of course I've forgotten the name.

I would imagine other photo noobs would appreciate some suggestions regarding free or reasonably priced software to get out POTM entries out of the camera and posted on this site, or in the FTS thread! ;D

I really like Picasa. It's by google. I use it to suck the pics off my camera, sort them, crop them, and since I use gmail, I even have a few gigs of space to put them on the web with a single click of a button. Then you just link to them using the img tags

IRFanView: will resize & crop. Easy to use tool. Free.

Shutterfly: website, can be used to store and share photos. The pictures on there can be resized and cropped.

Thanks everyone!

I have a CD packed with pics that Napolinewjersey took of my tanks that I want to share.

I might even have time tonight!

IF you have Microsoft Office (therefore not really free or cheap) you should have MS Office Picture Manager, which is good enough for cropping and resizing and some really rudimentary color management. Nothing on a scale of Photoshop, but quite often all you might want to do.

Thanks again everyone!

Turns out i have access to Microsoft Office Picture Manager. I used that for my recent posts about my tanks.

I'll give the freebies a try next go round.

Thanks to all who replied. :)
