Hey - there - unfortunately this is not a post from first-hand experience - so feel free to vet it...

Anyways - a ManattanReefs member posted a small group buy for this online company and had a very bad experience - much of the livestock was DOA in under 8 hrs of delivery. Not sure if it's just the weather - but something to consider as I noticed some folks on the board inquiring about buying from them.

In essence - of the 5 people who bought, all had at least one critter DOA...total refund was about $70. I dunno how the group buy works with our invert supplier - but this one did not sort out the individuals orders so the GB manager had to sort it herself. It was only because of her negotiation that they were even able to get the money back as store policy would have been credit.

Anyways - I think the other irritation was that items were "listed as available" and paid for - turned out not in the order because they "ran out"...

Luckily we've always had really good luck with our invert orders.

I ordered a bunch of inverts from them two weeks ago during their 1/2 price invert sale. Even with two heat packs the water was 63 degrees when I opened the box but all survived. I don't like ordering during the winter but their deals were too goo to resist - like harlequin shrimp for $10. Another order that I got from one of our sponsors was around 55 degrees when it arrived but that was a good thing because it killed all the zoa eating spiders that were on the colony ???
