I'm running the effluent at 80 - 100 ml/min. Bubble count is around 120/min but the controller turns it on only 75% of the time. Reaction chamber pH is 6.5. Effluent pH is around 7.3.
I setup my reactor's pH for 6.5 as well, large media plus Zeomag. Not sure exactly on the drip rate, but I can say that it's a steady drip, one right after the other w/ no delay. my bubble rate is very similar. i keep it high so that my effluent line doesn't clog up w/ calcium buildup. my controller keeps the tank's pH at 8.2, so I'm not too worried about the number of drops, more about the ratio of drops and bubbles. also have my effluent running into a cup w/ small calcium media to help dissipate the leftover co2.
I am still getting mine dialed in, so knock wood! Right now I am at 40 bubbles/min, and a "fast drip," maybe 120-180 drops/min. That said, I came down the other day and the effluent valve had clogged, the reactor was half full of CO2, and the pH had jumped up from 8.0 to 8.3 (from kalk dripping).
I mostly have frags and a couple small colonies right now.
I love the geo reactors, I don't count drips, I did the recommended setting which is a fast constant drip, set the ph controller to 6.6 - 6.7 which gives me levels at: cal 450, alk 8.3 DKH and ph of 8.1 I set it this way when I first set it up and haven't touched it since. If you use a controller with a good quality reactor the counting of bubbles isn't necessary, I'd set it for a bubble a sec and let the controller take care of the rest.
