Can anyone recommend a good beginners book (new DSLR)

My new nikon d40 came today, I'm SOOO excited! However all I've ever had was point & shoot cameras and I have NO idea what anything means when it comes to photography... I know there are a million photography books out there so I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations on a good book to teach me the basics so I can learn to use my new camera outside of the "auto" settings LOL

Thanks!

The Ritz Camera in Freehold holds classes. Very good classes with lots of great info (as long as you're in the right class for your skill level). The teacher is a Nikon guy (and his right arm is a Canon guy).

Thanks for the links guys, I'll check those out & see about Nikon's version.... really looking for an actual paper book though as my little one is less then thrilled with me being online and I'd like a book I can read in bed at night once she is down and to take to the beach or outside while she is playing (my "down" time LOL)

I'll also look into a class, hadn't even thought of that :D

In the mean time I'm having fun with the auto setting, SOOO glad I bought the optional flash, the difference when bouncing the flash off the ceiling with inside shots is amazing!

Nothing spectacular but I was even able to get some shots of my fish last night (with my old digital they were always blurry)I can't even imagine how awesome it'll be one day when I can get a macro!
