Candy cane and Trumpet

Looking at the tank this morning I realized Im going to have to move some things around.

I have a Candy Cane coral which I really like and it has really colored up and now it is sending out about 3" sweepers. I do have a nice piece of SPS that is also growing like a week right next to it so I dont want the sweepers to kill it.

My questions is what can I put this close to in my tank without worrying about it? Can my candy canes (Caulastrea furcata) go next to trumpets (Caulastrea curvata).

I had a colony of Candy Canes and Trumpets right next to each other. They were touching actually. They didn't sting each other but the Candy Canes grew faster and started taking over. Probably because the CC colony was bigger to begin with.

Thats the answer I was looking for, and it makes me feel even better knowing that the trumpet corals were yours! lol. I think you gave them to me back in the August meeting.
