Closed loop powered by a Koralia?

I was thinking a Koralia or a Sureflow Maxijet, could be housed in a large pvc fitting then reduced down to a manifold type fitting someomething like this for the intake side and the outflow.

Then T'ed and reduced down to a any combination of other smaller fittings to make one powerful closed loop system. Imagine 2000GPH closed loop pulling 10 watts!

I think it could work hung and plumbed from the bottom of the tank.

Any thoughts?

Interesting idea but not sure the powerhead can actually generate enough head pressure unless your loop is completely level (I'm not sure I'm saying this correctly but hope you get the idea).

i don't think it would work.... koralia produce hi flow, but not high pressure, and with all the work that would be involved a mag pump would just be more worth while

I see what you two are saying about presure.

In my mind there is no "head" presure in a closed loop because there is water all around it with equalized presure in every direction. So the Koralia type pump is only passing water from one area to another not forcing it to go against gravity.

Anyway, I think this is how it works out.

You will still have restriction through the pipe/closed loop = Head pressure

Unless you are planing to just place this "manifold" directly in front of the Koralia inside the tank just to redirect the flow in more directions? Not really a "closed loop".
