Does Temp matter

OK I am getting ready to transfer so LR that has been in a bin in my garage for a week. The temp in the garage w/o a heater is 80. I want to move the rock in my new tank that has water and sand only. I Have the salinity level set but I do not have a heater yet. Will putting the rock in cause a problem if the temp is not up to acceptable reef levels? The tank water is being moved with a power head.

Thanks in advance

depending what kind of rock you have most live rock is just that live so I would say get a heater. If you have dead rock like Marco that it probably doesn't matter. for a few days.

This time of year, unless you keep your house really cold, I'm sure the temps aren't going to be outrageously low in your tank. If it is at least 75 I think you'd be ok.

yes my wife likes it cool. The tank is a 140 that is half full as I am upgrading from a 55. I just put a small heater in that I use for my water change bucket to see if I can get the temp up to 75.
