I'm using it on my system.

It's a great skimmer and should do fine on a 150. I don't know anything about the G3 to compare the two. I'm running it on a 400 Gal system so it's a bit undersized.

I'm planning on winning the MR-2R at the holiday party :) so if you want another one let me know :)

The ASM G3 has a bigger footprint and would be tight getting the collection cup on & off, plus I like the drip feature the deluxe model has.
