Is there a specific type of food that I should be feeding my scoly? Should I be spot feeding it? Should I be seeing its tentacles when I feed at night?
We feed ours silversides...once a week or once every two weeks...when we think of it. It does "feed" off the lights but still needs meaty foods to grow.
they actually were all mashed up in the bag anyways so just alittle chunk. a few weeks ago i threw the bag out though because it smelled foul ( thanks to whoever turned the dial down on the little fridges freezer ) so ive been using brine, mysis and smaller foods. IMO feeding anemones/corals its better to use smaller foods and a few smaller feeds then one large one. This is so they dont use more energy trying to digest the food then what they would gain from it. Ive heard people using raw shrimp to feed nems and things but i personally would never use this as i feel it would be to difficult to digest even cut up.
