I have had my neon green tipped finger leather for about 4 months now. This morning everything looked okay, but when I came home tonight I noticed that the bottom of the leather looks like it is being shredded. I also noticed some little and big black spots on the base. Some of these black spots looked like they were moving but I couldn't tell if it was just my eyes from looking so hard. I took the best pics I could for tonight since I cannot find my other camera but I hope someone can tell me what is causing this problem.

Can you point a powerhead towards it? Or blow at the base with a turkey baster. See if the flesh starts to blow off. I'm not the softie expert , but if the flesh blows off, it's a disease. Cut the leather off above the bad spot and clean the rock of the dieing flesh. Someone will jump on here to help you further when they get a chance.
