Fish Feeders

What is your recommendations on battery operated fish feeders? How reliable are they?

My tank has a lid with only a 2" opening on one side. Is it possible to install a feeder on the tank so the feed goes through this opening?

I have a couple different types and pretty much like them all. The ones made by Hydor are pretty good, but honestly, THESE are the best ones I found. They are really flexible in their programming options. The only downside to them is that they are a tad flimsy. I also have THESE round/wheel kind of things that have no flexibility at all. They just rotate twice in a day and deliver food.

At any rate, not knowing your setup, I would say that you should be able to arrange it so the food drops through the hole.
