Fresh Algae ingredients

Where do I find these things (mainly the Red)?

Might be a stupid question... but they say use the freshest available...

10 g of Red Algae (Palmaria palmata; Bisck uses Julian Sprung's brand)
and/or 10 g of Spirulina, 10 g of Nori (spirulina is what Bisck prefers)

I saw the Julian Sprung brand at petsmart. they had green purple and red. The Nori is available most places. i bought it as seaweed salad by san fransico bay at petco. I have seen nori in the supermarket as well, but its a little harder to find that way i think

I (meaning Deb when she food shops ;) ) always get Nori at the supermarket.

Make sure it's not salted or anything. It should be labeled as Toasted Nori. It's much cheaper than the pre packaged stuff.

Hope that helps!

We get our seaweed at the chinese market. 100 sheets for like 5$.

LOL...I took some "racemosa" out of my fuge one night, washed it off and ate it. It was actually pretty good with the whiskey and coke I was drinking at the time. Or at least I think I remember it being pretty good. lol...
