Well I just set up my refugium with the over flow and I am having a noise issue with the overflow there is a lift pump on the over flow but it still gets that noisy air water suction noise any suggestion. Not sure what you need to knw to assist so fire away.

Do you have any pic's of the setup? Might be easier to see it before making suggestions.

If it's an internal overflow, you could add a perforated standpipe to the drain hole. I don't know if this cuts down on flow. Anyone know more about these? I'm still in the build process, myself.
