Icecap 175watt MH Ballast

Each brand of ballast fires the bulb differently perhaps?
When I swapped out the last of the old ballasts this morning and lit up my tank it was much brighter and a bit more of a blue tinge came out of the bulbs. I had thought there was a brightness/colour difference when I had 2 stock ballasts and one icecap but now that they match I know there was a difference between them.
You can visually see a difference.....perhaps you are seeing the same thing...the differences in the ballasts between 2 different manufacturers
Or maybe its just me and I am seeing things again

No experience with MH, but do have IceCap T5 units. With T5's, IceCap overdrives the bulbs. Is this possibly the case with MH as well? If they are being overdriven, than that's the reason for the color difference.
