Killing off a Kenya Tree

My Kenya Tree is dropping branches every day. At first I took them and stuck them in different spots in my LR. Now it is spreading so fast My 65g is becoming a Kenya tank. Is there a way to kill the pieces that have dropped and attached to LR? I tried pulling them off but that doesn't work. Any suggestions? I have plenty of pieces stuck to small shells and LR pieces for eventual trade.

try boiling water in a syringe. mine does the same thing i pull them off asap when they fall and have been throwing them in the fuge to grow. gunna see if the LFS would give me .50 or a $1 for big pieces. lol kenya trees are annoying.

I had a rock in my 15g that had a bunch of kenya trees on it... They were dropping their leaves and making a mess ( I thought they were dying?).. anyway I used a bone cutter to cut them at the stem and ran the skimmer a little wet. The rock is totally kenya free now.
