leather in need of help

hey I have a large yellow toadstool that has formed holes on the top layers of skin I had a problem with levels last week. the top also lookslike the skin is starting to die off . I prob know the answer. Would you guys trash it

Leathers often shed their skin to get rid of algae and detritus. As long as the flesh is still firm and not turning to mush I would leave it alone.

na the flesh is falling off, and wholes are all over the tissue I believe there is soemthing eating is

What kind of fish do you have? Any dwarf angels?

nothing that would eat the coral. but I have been trying to get a decorator crab out of the tank. He must have came in on a coral 4 years ago. hes dam big
