Let the cycle (and fun) begin!

Ok good to know here ty. So maybe I can find one or two more wrasse and then after QT I can add them with the yellow and six line all together if I can figure out how to catch the yellow in my AIO sump chamber bc it’s tight back there.

Need some small reef safe wrasse ideas???

Should I turn off the power head in qt tank? I run a bit different and have rock scape, no corals but keepsthe detritus moving.
What type of corals are you going to have as main type? I see you have two angels!!
I used to have good luck with the flames even the last one went to Bob’s tank (sps heavy )with no problem!!
I’m very excited to see how those two together will make that tank stand out!!

Mixed reef for sure, a little of everything that doesn’t break the bank and I need to figure out dosing. But I had binge b/w my first coral show followed by the wwc reef2reef this weekend so trying to stay on a coral holding pattern now for a few months. But the list includes softies, lps and a couple of beginner sps. I had trouble and lost a bunch of stuff I moved from a smaller tank a few months ago at the same time I was trying to dial in flow and deal with algae issues.

On the angel front, I was super excited to get the tomini tang, the flame angel and coral beauty angel all in at the same time hoping that reduced the bullying, and so far they are all happy along with the original purple tang and blue hippo and everyone’s working hard at keeping my rocks clean.

I think your point is be careful with them and corals nipping?
