At the frag swap I picked up a few packs of the Ocean Wonders mag disks. I mounted a few small polyps on each and they barely held to the side of my AGA 90 ( a moderate current will blow them off). The magnetic pull was so weak that a small snail pushed one and the disk fell behind my rock work, gone forever.
For the remaining 3 I had, I put the magnet from one of my korillas on the outside of the tank and it is holding a bit better.
Anyone know or have a good guess as to the strength of these magnets? I want to buy stronger epoxy coated magnets and make my own that actually hold.
