multiple skimmers on one tank

Does any one use more than one skimmer for their tank? I currently have two Aqua C remora Skimmers on my 75 gallon mixed reef tank. I can't say I notice the difference when I take one of them out of service. I get great skimmate from both.

Has anyone noticed a difference when using more than one?

Never tried that before. But don't see how it would differ if you used an over sized skimmer.

it's the same concept as using an oversized skimmer. if you are getting "great skimmate" from both skimmers, i would not turn one off.

I agree, If your skimmate is good in both i'd keep them both goin

Gotta agree, if the two hang ons are pulling skim well keep em running or get a bigger one, just saw a hang on Tunze and a hang on Deltec FS on RC. I assume you don't have a sump, right?

I have a sump, but I started out sumpless. That is how I ended up with a hang-on skimmer. I actuallt like the Aqua C Remora skimmer, it appears to do a good job (err both of them)
