need help icecap ballast

i think lightning hit my icecap 660 ballast. can't get it to turn on. Was hoping someone has a spare or at least one i could use to test to be sure it is the ballast before i buy another

will need to do something soon

This may be stating the obvious, but have you checked the fuse?

Call Ice Cap they are in Hamilton, NJ. You could probably go there any have them fix it.

I didn't think of the fuse, it was blown, had to buy one today. As soon as i turned it back on it blew the fuse again

Look for a chaffed wire somewhere. Maybe its causing a short that's blowing the fuse. HTH
