Need ID please

Found this growing on one of my rocks in the tank.

Anyone have any clue what it might be. Today it had what looked like some sharp tenticles coming out of it, but by the time I got the camera they had retracted.

Possibly a flower/rock anenome. Hard to tell from the pic though.

I'd say it was about the size of a nickle round. It kind of lays flat against the rock, kind of like a flower without a stem.

If it is a flower/rock anenome is it something I should look to remove?

Nope, flower/rock anenomes are just another anenome. They will get about 3-4 inches across. Not a nuisance like aiptasia.
