Neptune EB8 Knocking Apex Jr A3 Offline

Anyone ever have their EB8 knock their Apex offline? When I plug in my EB8 my Apex goes offline and when I disconnect it my Apex comes back online. They are both newer style equipment. I put a ticket in with Neptune but I thought I'd ask fellow reefers.

Are you using aquabus cable or a USB cable? Did you try resetting both?

Using aquabus. Swapped out with a different aquabus cable. Yes, i did reset both. I purchased the EB8 used and it did work for a couple months before it started acting up. I'm thinking its something in the EB8?

EB8s are very old. Simplest way to troubleshoot is to try another apex-compatible power strip (EB8 or EB832), if it works, then must be EB8.

Ok. I have the newer EB832. I can get my hands on another EB8 to test it. Neptune tech support suggests sending it in for troubleshooting. They're telling me troubleshooting and labor are free but I'd have to pay for parts and programming if needed. I'll probably give that a try if I confirm its the EB8. Thanks for the help.
