New Additions From Tropiquarium

First of i'd like to say that the trop is awesome. Great service great fish. I picked up 3 yellow tangs, 1 blonde naso tang and 1 powder blue tang.

nice pics what are you talking about? Good composition, now here's a tip on refraction:

I notice a slight refraction on the first pics. you probably took those pics at an angle from the front glass. Make sure your camera is exactly parallel to the front panel of the tank. That'll prevent refraction which causes image blur and distortion.

thanks for the tip i'll def keep that in mind. i need to get a better camera. i've only got a Olympus D-550 3.0 MP. thing is like a dinasoar.

Hey Merv, how do you deal with refraction when you have a bow front tank? Besides shooting from the sides or the back. ::)

cool fish :)
make sure they get a lot of nori they will be nice & fat.
u have a good camera, my sony is a 3.3 mp & i take most of the shots on a tripod & straigh to the glass.

You can find Nori at most supermarkets. If you need some I have a bunch I could give ya.

you can either get up smack close to the tank and keep as close to parallel to the middle of the lens to the front of the tank

OR

Take a picture at least 4-5 feet away

OR

get a flat tank :)
