This is nice to have I guess. However, I have a request/concern.

Can we make sure that we DO NOT post any pictures on these sites of members unless the members are OK doing so?

I know a various incidents where a person was not happy to see his picture on facebook and he did not even have an account.

If someone wants to post pics (e.g. pics taken at our meetings every months), they can surely do so, but I think they should seek permission from the folks who are in that pic.

Just my $0.02.

Our plan is to use it primarily for event promotions and member awareness so I don't see us using any photos besides for something like a group shot at something like the beech cleanup.

But you bring up a good point, if anyone has privacy concerns about their photo being posted on our site, they can contact a moderator or officer to have the photo removed. It is not always practical to ask everyone you are taking pictures of, especially in a group shots or busy meetings. My opinion is that it would be in your best interests to inform the person taking the photos that you would not like to be included in any photos. It is a lot easier on all parties involved that way.

I do not mind how we impose it. Just trying to make a point, that there are many people who are NOT on facebook and the reason is "privacy".

I think the guy on the right side of the pic needed a plate (or platter?) over his belly if he really wanted to disguise himself.
