just set up my new sump, used pvc to go from the overflow to my sump, but the pvc is leaking at the joints(elbows), sould i use siliconce to close all the connections or is there somthing better?

ps. if anyone needs a 55g+hood+light+filter(tetratec 500) with heater and willing to trade for a 36" 96x2 light please let me know....or for sale

You should have used PVC Glue
I would take them apart and re glue them if at all possible
Silicone will not work long term.
Sometimes trying to re glue will not work and you might have to use new fittings.
You will need to put PVC glue on the Fitting and the pipe you are gluing it to and push and twist it all the way till it stops then hold for about 30 seconds
