Pipe Fish

I don't understand what's happening. My son caught a seahorse a month ago and its doing great, fingers crossed. It eats frozen food from the start. We caught a few pipe fish in Shark River and Keyport. Unfortunately, they all died by the next morning. I took an hour to acclimate them. Any suggestions to keep them alive would be appreciated.

I don't know about one from the river, but I had one in my tank for about a year an it ate right away. It was striped got it from red sand. If they died in a day it wasn't from not eating. Must of been somethin else
