Been reading that some people mount their MH bulbs perpendicular to the length of the tank, instead of parallel. The posts state they get better light distribution when it's perpendicular. Anyone out there do this and actually see better results?
I have a retrofit 4ft reflector from HelloLights and it was pre-drilled to have the Mogul sockets mounted parallel to the tank. I could redo it and make it perpendicular, but not sure if there is really an added benefit. Hoping to get some opinions before I rip apart my canopy
