My PD's have this wierd white look to them when closed. They open just fine.

That looks like fungus which would likely eventually kill them...

You can get something called Furan-2 and you can follow a dip process. Just google "Zoa Furan Dip" and you'll find one.

Dam, can't find that stuff locally. I tried Aqob but none . Anyone locally to Woodridge that may have some I can use to stop the death of my Purple Deaths :-[

Thanks man, but that's a little over an hour from me. I found this stuff in Petsmart called melafix marine antibacterial and corsl remedy. I dipped it that for now, till I find the Furan2 or someone a little closer. These damn gas prices !!
