Is this a rarity or what? I have 2 anemones that have been hanging together touching and all. as I understood clones could onle touch aothers of the same parent. Here I have two clones of different colors even?

??? pretty cool anyway ;D

perfectly normal and pretty cool.

If you check out some of the pics of heteractis magnifica or even BTas in the wild, there will be a 20 square foot area with hundreds of clones and different colors.

totally normal. The colors do not change the fact that they are the same species. it would be like having two hammer corals - one green tipped, the other purple tipped.

check out this beauty of a tank with multiple bubble tip anemones (and multiple clowns that were all introduced together from the same clutch):

tank is owned by mobert.

well technically it's the anemone that is "hosting". But yes BTAs have been known to host true and false percs in captivity. It rarely happens in the wild though. BTAs normally host other clownfish species in the wild - not usually true percs/false percs.
