I see posts about the Red Sea G1 tanks popping out the front panel and am very concerned. Could I glue glass or plexiglass on the sides and one in the middle to help prevent this problem?

From what I watched on youtube this is quite difficult to do when the tank is running and you would need to do it yourself. You will need the tank on its side and the glass strip properly supported while the silicone is curing. And glass can be expensive at this thickness and dimension.

The majority of failures are in the bottom seam, euro brace on the top is not going to help. There's some side separation, but minor cases compared to the bottom.

Separate note, plexiglass or acrylic does not bind well to glass.
