Hi
I recently began to add some easy corals to my 210g fowlr tank and wanted to know if the salt i use (red sea pro) is enough for my corals to thrive . I know there are a million additives out there but are these necessary especially if your parameters are where they should be ?
current parameters:
temp: 77
salinity: 1.023
ph: 8.0
dkh: 7-11
nitrates: .15
ammonia: 0.00
magnesium and strontium: n/a - don't have a kit
phosphates: .05
corals: frogspawn, Kenya tress, toadstool, hairy shroons, red & blue shroons
I plan to add some sps after i change my bulbs(mh & pc).
I also plan to get a new skimmer next month. still debating betwen octo pro, asm and mrc
thanks
Pete
