Sea-Flo MJ Mod Question

I have an MJ Mod from Sea-Flo that stopped working. I want to know if the problem is my MJ or the prop assembly.

This is a picture of the prop assembly

From left to right there is the magnet, a grey piece, and the white prop. My question is: Is the grey piece suppose to be attached to the magnet? Mine is not. I can remove the magnet, grey piece, and the prop off of the shaft individually. Would this cause the prop assembly to not spin. If the grey piece is suppose to be attached to the magnet, can I super glue it, or do I need a new prop?

I'm not familiar with the Sea-Flo, but it sounds like the prop should not be rotating independently of the magnet. I've tried Crazy Glue in a similar situation, but it has no shear strength and will fail. You might try a two-part epoxy glue (not a two-part epoxy putty).

The epoxy probably goes for $4 or 5 at Home Depot, but may be throwing good money after bad. I think you've got a better chance with it than with a cyanoacrylate, but it is probably a crap shoot.
