I might have screwed up my group buy and was thinking of putting some SeaChem Seagel in a micron sock.

I was thinking of keeping it in the last chamber of the fuge [just before the water enters my tank] , so that I give natural phosphor weaning mechanisms the first chance.
Let me know if anyone has personal experience with this product. Also does exposure to air affect carbon/phosban ?
ie. do I have to keep the gel+micron sock submerged in water ?
