Shrimp in skimmer?

So I added a peppermint shrimp to my nano reef the other day. Interesting to watch, but...every morning, I wake up and find him in the skimmer! He's ok, but he can't get out without my intervention.

I am using the nano skimmer that hangs on the intake.

Any ideas on how to keep him out where he belongs?

Think we need a picture to understand what is happening. Maybe some sort of mesh? Hard to say without pic.

Yes just add a mesh covering to the intake of the skimmer and that should work

They will do that, get into small places with good flow. It's their inclination. You'll need to obstruct the path into it.

Ok, I'll try to find some mesh to keep the little bugger out. Last night he stayed low. Maybe the couple of rides into skimmerland knocked some sense into him..
Next time he gets in there I'll take a pic before I rescue him...
