Do gobies normally eat shrimp?
I woke up this morning and saw my 5" Blue Spotted Goby with the tail of my big cleaner shrimp hanging out of it's mouth. No, it was not a molt. They had been housed together since last year without issues. The shrimp is over two years old which is normal life expectancy for them. So maybe the srimp died overnight and then the goby got to it?? I can't see him taking the shrimp alive.
