This probably only interests me but...
Spectrum (aka Rayovac) really only recently came to become the owner of tetra. It was part of Warner Lambert's consumer division loooooooong ago before they were wholly acquired by Pfizer. Pfizer then spun off Tetra thru a LBO in 2003...then resold to Rayovac in 2005.
yes the makers of listerine and lubriderm actually also made tetra fish stuff at one point! I used to buy a lot of turtle and fish food for cheap...

The parent company, I learned last weekend, purchased Tetra & MarineLand at an excessively rediculous price that nobody in their right mind would have paid for them. Hopefully the other company who was interested in picking them up at the time will pick them up now...
