sps/hermit crab

at the frag swap, I got an sps frag I wanted to see how it would do under these T5's, we'll see how that goes.

Anyway, I often see a hermit crab crawling on the frag.. is this normal or is he causing damage?

Ive had that happen on a regular basis. I have a several sps corals that my hermits love to hang out on. I dont understand why. I actually have one scarlet herm that stays there for hours and hours. They do not do any visable harm to the coral. The only thing that bothers me is that the polyps do not open during the time that they are hanging out on the coral. Other than that everything is okay.
