Starting over & stopping in to say hello

Hi all. I have not posted much here over the last year or so. I have been busy & really have not had much time to do anything interesting with the tank. Over the last year, I managed to top off the evap & swipe the glass every once in a while on my 60g cube. I recently decided to sell the tank. The timing couldn't have been better for me because about the time I made my mind up to downsize, we started the moving process into a condo.

I need something simple in my life (well, as simple as possible in the reef world) and plan to start up an aquapod. I found a good deal on Craigslist & plan to get it up and running in the next month once we get moved. I plan to keep in mainly stock (maybe a few flow/cooling mods) and go for the easier corals. I know I don't have the time to devote to anything high maintenance right now, and knowing my limitations is going to be blessing this time around.

That said I will post pics and specs once I get my plans more together.

As it turns out The 12g aquapod I bought was part of Current-USA's lighting recall & I am waiting on them to ship me a new tank. Should be here right around the time I start moving to the new condo.

I'm pretty handy at electrical stuff so I plan to re-wire the hood on the old one & might set it up and do something interesting with it... any ideas??? Maybe a pistol shrimp/ goby tank? Zoa only tank? just let it grow completely wild with xenia? Open for suggestions on the second one.

Welcome (back)! Your timing on the tank (and recall) were perfect. Good luck with the move and new tank setup!
