This does not have the usual reefer substrates but does have a "Sand". I have forgotten how much sand I have used on my 40. Can some one verify if the numbers provided are close to real numbers ?

Those can be used for a ruff estimate.

"Most all the aragonites weigh 70 lbs/cubic foot.

That is just a poor statement, as lbs / cubic foot, is defendant on grain size. Meaning, a container filled with .5 mm sand will weigh less than a container filled with 1 mm sand. The 1 mm will have a higher void fraction. Meaning, more air and less sand weight.

The driveway calculator is much better but is dealing with the wrong weigh or density of the material we use, so is even worse but either for sand are close enough.
