T-5 Recomendations

I think everyone would say at least have a kz fiji pink bulb in there to get some reds and pinks to pop, Ati bulbs seem to be the most popular, it depends on what you want your zoas to look like, i like my tank to be more bluer and have more glow, so i have a pink , and the rest are ati blue pluses and specials.

Im not to handy with specs but i know that the grim reefer on rc has the answer to every question about t-5's, he answered mine, im sorry im not that much of help but im going to lean towards going with ati blue pluses and specials, i have no experience with geismans when i had old geisman bulbs the tank was way to white and brown for my liking.

I'm running a Nova Extreme 4 bulb T5 on my 28 gallon using
4x GEISEMANN bulbs
1 Midday
2 Aquablue+
1 Pure Actinic

It's like the sun is in my basement but it's very very white, I'm not sure I really like it. These are brand new bulbs, when they die I'm going to switch to the Ati/api (forgetting my acronyms).

I have the lights and the bulbs are the OK but I regard them more as a placeholder till you upgrade the bulbs.
The 10K bulbs are not bad but the atinic are soso.
I replaced half the buls so I have
Geismann Pure Actinic
ULV 14K
Cat Actinic
10K
Repeat.
I think it all depends on how you like the bulbs...but I would rotate them out over time.
The Geismann bulbs are way better then the Catalina bulbs....but 10Ks are not bad.
Just my opinion though.
