TEST KITS

[Tropicalresource]

After a long layoff from reefkeeping. Im wondering what are the better test kits out now-a-days.. i used to use Lamotte..some red sea.
Kits for Calcium- phosphates- Mg- ??.
I know some companies do some tests better then others. Any input will be greatly appreciated

I cant advise as to which is best but I like the Salifert kits.

Red sea is considered inaccurate. API is cheap and effective. Salifert, Lamotte and Elos are all quality kits.

For purposes I use API for all of the basics Ammonia, Nitrite, Nitrate, and pH. Hagen for Alk and Ca with Salifert for Mg.

I use Salifert for everything but PH

Dont recall who the ph is but it was a cheapie

I use Salifert as well. I've had nothing but problems with API and red sea
