tiny snails

i have a bunch of these tiny snails...what are they and are they good/bad can they get out of control?

hard to tell but they just look like baby snails. I've got millons of them.

I used to see this a lot in my old tank. I agree with saltwater4life in that they look like baby snails. Personally, I've never worried about any type of "bad" snail showing up unlike some crabs that you might want to remove.

From what I've seen the population will hit a high and then decline as the food source is used up.
